Like my Mittens, the one in the movie has a personality.

As you can see, my Mittens is fine. In fact, she went on to have a litter of kittens. Immediately after the catastrophe, I thought she was dead. The very next day, without any treatment, she was not only well. She climbed up to my shoulder and sat there, as if to tell me that she had forgiven me. We call her the Mittens the Miracle Cat.
Mittens here could forgive. Somehow perhaps, she knew it was an accident. But also, I believe, it is because I was the one who gave her a home. (She was found by some friends who needed to find a home for her and I took her) She was thankful. That's very "S".
The other Mittens, however, so badly traumatized at being abandoned, it took her a long time to get over it. Her view was all skewed.

But when it was finally proven that this was true - via personal experience - Mittens in the movie was quick to embrace the family. A people-person, in the movie, which is not like most cats. Not one to fight back. Gentle and willing to help - another "S" trait.
My next post will be about another cat. A cat burglar.
By the way, yes, my Mittens DOES like to lie like that. She catnaps that way too! (pun intended)
