Twist and Turn

I had a visitor. Someone I hadn't seen for decades. Literally so. 

After dinner, she insists on teaching me something. The robust growth of pandan leaves in my garden had caught her eye. She went out, cut off some of the leaves and showed me with twists and turns how to make a rose. 

Voila!

My friend is obviously someone who wont take No for an answer. She is also someone with an eye for detail. Interesting. I am tempted to profile her.....

Creativity

It takes a certain kind of personality to think out of a box.

It takes a certain kind of personality to not be thwarted by obstacles.

Sent on a errand to get a special drink, a D-C friend was not perturbed when told that there this drink was not available.

He improvised very nicely. See here

She was particular about her food.

He was even more particular about his food.

Not so much the health aspect.

More the texture, taste and appearance aspect.

Hence when it came to bacon, they were specific.
It could only be one type, from one source.
The rest paled in comparison.

And they were right.
A memorable feast... prepared by two high "C"s who suited each other very well indeed.
