Restrain

It is sooooo hard for him to merely stand back and watch. Even as he observes the situation, I am observing him, and can see him itching to say something. I can see him struggling to hold his tongue, yeah, bite it even.

Being a classic "I" with an opinion of many matters because he is tinged with "D" as well, it requires tremendous self control not to take over. He knows he is more capable. He is full aware that there is much that can be improved.

But he is not there to be hands on. No. He needs to allow the other to learn, to grow, to improve. And even make mistakes.

So he smiles.

And walks away when it gets close to intolerable.

Admirable indeed.
