A Certain Kind....

It takes a certain kind of person who would drive two hours to get to the spot desired.
A certain kind of person who would brave the cold and the winds just to get to the destination.
One who is not deterred by steep steps and slopes.
One who is not held back by rules and regulations.

Indeed, one who would go where it is forbidden to go - into the caves and caverns which could collapse from the weight of melting snow.
One who would go further when others have turned back - just to touch a real glacier.
One who would think of the consequences - and yet still be willing to pay the price.

What a person this is.
He will get the job done.
She will be frustrated when obstacles don't shift.
He will be adamant it can be done, even when others begin to doubt.
She will insist that it is doable, even if others are persuaded otherwise.

Who is this person?

The High D. Tinged with C.... Projects. Driven. Pioneering. Dogmatic.

Unwilling

No matter what the personality profile, if one doesn't want to adapt, one will find one alienating someone else sooner or later. This is because whatever one's profile is, one will always find someone else the opposite.

Determined D

A challenge. 

A test.

A personal one too.

Supernatural healing? Let's prove it. Let's go the the gym

And so it was. The determined D did so... as proof for the high C. Classic "project-fueled" event!

Facing Crisis

To be told that you need to be hospitalised and require surgery is always a shock the the system.

What more if you are still young and reasonably healthy?

How you face such news reveals a lot on your personality. Whether you have good support also shows. 

So someone dear and close faced such an event. She coped really well,  with good spirits and positive in outlook. She did well post-operatively too. Her bubbly personality continued to show, and friends from near and far continued to support. Thankful and we expect full recovery soon.

Who Enjoyed More?

Working with young people always invigorates me. My passion is to help get them to reach their target in life. 

When, at the end, they come up to me and tell me how much they have learned and find useful, it makes the long hours of being on my feet worthwhile!

A Special Young Lady

I was given this lovely bar of soap. The story can be found here. 

In itself, it is a lovely bar, nicely scented, pleasant and specially wrapped.

What made it special was the person who gave it. A young lady, full of energy and ideas, able to lead and motivate others, capable of discernment and wisdom beyond her years, and always willing to go the extra mile. When she says she can't help you, she can't. But if she says she will, you can be certain she will. 

This makes it hard to place her personality. But I would, for the first time, venture to say that she has a healthy dose of D, but also S, and I think C. Convoluted? No, just an interesting young lady who will go a long, long way, successful in whatever she puts her hand to. 

And a pleasure to know. 

Enjoying and Evaluating

Enjoying what I do, and making sure others have fun too, I took a group of people out for a day and made sure they had fun. They had been working so hard that they deserved a treat. So it was a day of treats of them.

Giving them clues, they went from place to place, doing activities and getting rewards for what they do.  We were supposed to finish at 9.00pm but ended up closer to 11.00pm instead. It was worth it!
